I have been doing genealogy for nearly 20 years now, and I just checked the statistics of my Family Tree Maker data base. I have entered 11,677 people, comprising of 55 generations, 4030 marriages and 2,432 surnames. Clovis the Riparian, Frankish King of Cologne, has the earliest birthdate in my database, he was born before 420 a.d. The average life span of the individuals in my data base is 60 years and 6 months.
