Sideways

Just finished reading Sideways by Rex Pickett and am sorry to say that this is one of the few instances when the movie was actually better than the book. 351 pages of Miles and Jack whining about the women in their lives: Barbara, Victoria, Terra & Maya during a week of gluttony in California wine country. At least the movie distilled some of the whininess from the book.

Next up on the reading list is Scott Smith's newly released The Ruins. I have been anxious to read it since I first heard about it about six weeks ago and it just came out on Tuesday (the 18th). Hopefully it will live up to its hype.
