Setting My 2008 Reading Goal

I read 26 books during 2006. Last night I finished reading "Chancellorsville" by James Reasoner, therefore closing out the year 2007 having read 27 books, one more than last year. Today I started reading Khaled Hosseini's "The Kite Runner" and have already read 1oo of it's 371 trade paperback pages... I doubt that I will finish it any sooner than January 1st, so I will count it as my first book of 2008.

I always start out the year with a goal of reading 52 books (one book a week), but my more realistic goal is to read at least one more book than last year... So, I since read 26 books in 2006, and 27 books in 2007, I plan on reading at least 28 books in 2008.
