Peanut Brittle

2 C. Sugar
1 C. Corn Syrup
½ C. Hot Water
1 tsp. Salt
2 C. Raw Peanuts
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
2 T Butter
1 ½ tsp Baking Soda

Bring to boil sugar, corn syrup, hot water & salt. When mixture comes to a full boil add raw peanuts. Cook on medium heat to 310-320°. Take off heat & quickly add vanilla extract & butter. Just stir a couple of seconds and then add baking soda & beat well. Pour onto a well buttered cookie sheet & place in a cold place. When cool break into pieces.
